Reaching people to become committed followers of Jesus Christ!

Strategic Partners

As a result of God’s leading, the Pastor’s and leadership of our church are inviting anyone with a heart for BCOB to join us in strategically praying for the following things. As your pastor I am excited about the idea that God is inviting us to be a part of His plan for so many people in our communities and neighborhoods. I believe this may be the single most important thing to the future of our church. Nothing in our lives has the power to unite our hearts and minds together as prayer does. There is something about praying in numbers, and praying for the supernatural things that only the presence and power of God can make happen. My prayer is that as you join us in praying that you begin to allow God to open your hearts and eyes to see what He is doing in our midst. Take time to celebrate the “wins” as God showers his blessings upon us. Some of these "wins" will be very evident and some will "look" like mere coincedences but when we committ to praying it puts our hearts in line with what God is doing so be on the look out for those God moments!

We know that some of you are great prayer warriors and that you have a way in which you pray in your life very passionately and consistently so we assume that this will come to you very easily and we thank you for your commitment to join us in praying. For everyone else who wants to join us in praying and have no clue where to begin we have a few ideas for you.

1)      set a time where you can avoid distractions (this means the cell phone as well)

2)      Divide the list into 7 parts and assign each part one day a week and pray as often as possible on that day.

3)      Pray with your families about something on the list when you sit down to eat let each member draw one request out of a hat

4)      Pray with others

5)      Don’t try to memorize the list print it off and pray about the things

6)      Go for a walk or a drive and pray  (without noise)

7)      Remember, prayer is sharing your heart with God, so just talk.

This list will be updated monthly and as needed.
They will also be available at the welcome desk at the church.

Please keep in mind this is not an opinion poll, or a list of things that have been decided.  They are areas in which we truly seek and desire to see God show us His plan as we seek to move forward in His presence.  Please join us in praying and celebrating as God does great things through us.
